Rodney Canada is the Executive Director, Environment, Health and Safety, for Comcast. Comcast is a multi-faceted company focused on providing broadband, cable television and cellular phone services to residential and business customers across the US.
Also, part of the Comcast portfolio are NBC Universal which consists on the various NBC television stations, Universal movie studios and theme parks and the Peacock streaming network. Additionally, Comcast owns the SKY broadcasting network in Europe.
Rodney’s primary focus is on the broadband/cable/cellular phone businesses of Comcast and it’s 90,000 employees.
Rodney has been an EHS professional for 38 years working in diverse industries including chemicals manufacturing, surface and underground mining, heavy civil construction and offshore oil and gas production before Comcast giving him a broad perspective on EHS issues in high-risk environments.
Rodney’s education includes Master’s degrees in both Environmental Engineering and Business. He resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area with his wife Tammy. They have three children with two finished with college and one still in college. When not working, Rodney enjoys water activities.
